About the collection
The first edition of Mickey Logue and Jack Simms' book Auburn: A Pictorial History of the Loveliest Village was published in 1981. It combined archival photographs and extensive research to present the histories of the City of Auburn and of Auburn University. Two more editions have since been published, the most recent in 2013. This digital collection contains images from the Auburn University Archives with captions adapted from Auburn: A Pictorial History of The Loveliest Village (all three editions).
