Emergency housing for post-WWI students

With an enrollment of about thirteen-hundred students and no men's dormitories, emergency housing was necessary in the early 1920s. Tents, relics of World War I days, were set up outside Alumni Gymnasium. One-hundred beds filled the gym floor.
