Auburn's great punter, Fox Howe, kept Georgia Tech out of touchdown range during a scoreless tie on this rainy day at Grant Field in 1923.  Despite the wet football, Howe regularly kicked 45 to 55 yards, and his first punt went 82.  At least two players were without helmets on this play.  Howe wore a shin guard on his left leg.
